This Spanish course focuses on building proficiency in the language with an emphasis on oral and written expression to facilitate further study of the culture. Students will learn how to use the appropriate language in culturally specific contexts and develop intercultural competence. The course's essential question is "How do Spanish-speaking peoples communicate on subjects that are at the heart of their societies?" Instruction is in Spanish.
