Catalog description

This course focuses on the role of energy in the maintenance of human organization, and explores continuity and change in how energy is produced and consumed from the individual to societal levels. It explores issues around resource extraction and depletion, renewable and alternative energy, climate change, and the environmental and social effects of traditional and emerging forms of energy production and use.
