Catalog description

This course introduces fundamentals of advertising in the new media environment. Students examine how organizations use new media to engage with consumers to achieve advertising objectives. Focus is on hands-on practice in the basic skills and processes needed to prepare multi-platform narratives. Students develop a clear understanding of what makes advertising effective across traditional and new media and develop professional research skills.
