Survey of autoethnographic methodologies with a focus on writing-based inquiry in communication studies scholarship. Utilizes a writing workshop model to build foundational skills in the development of autoethnographic narratives as a means of examining communication topics in varied cultural contexts. Students will write an original autoethnographic essay.
