Survey Research Methods

Catalog description

The study of survey research methods in various communication contexts. Emphasis on using survey research methodology in communication audits, public relations problems and public opinion polling and the ability to research literature, develop and evaluate survey questions, and apply and interpret statistical tests. Students will be expected to conduct an original research project and present findings in a paper and/or oral presentation.
