Ethnographic Approaches to Communication Studies

Catalog description

This course examines the value of ethnographic methodologies and other narrative forms of scholarship for enriching understandings of complex social issues and exploring the potential of communication toward shaping social change. Students will develop literacies in reading and evaluating ethnographic works and interrogating their contributions toward cultivating more just social worlds.
