Introduction to Communication Research

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the principles, methods and analysis techniques used in the field of communication. Emphasis is placed on a broad-based understanding of the breadth of research in the field. This course includes both qualitative and quantitative research methods, methods of literature review and research article critiques. This course fulfills the College of Arts and Letters writing-intensive requirement for the major.
