Introduction to Communication Theory

Catalog description

This course studies the theories and models that inform students' understanding of human communication processes. Emphasis is placed on the processes of theory building, comparison of theories, and the implications and application of theory to particular contexts. Consideration is given to the role of communication in all human endeavors. This course must be taken concurrently with SCOM 240L .
