The Ghana Summer 4-week program offers students lecture series and experiences that are interdisciplinary and enhance religious and cultural literacy and skills. While Ghanaian society is culturally and religiously pluralistic, the country has experienced relatively limited violence that emanates from religious differences. The purpose of the summer lecture series is to provide students opportunities to observe local professors and religious practitioners discuss the role and place of religion in Ghanaian society-both traditional and modern.
