Catalog description

This seminar is designed to assist students in the development and refinement of the skills applicable to the preparation of a dissertation prospectus. Topics include conceptual/theoretical scholarly writing, literature reviews, the relationship between theory and data, research design, sampling, measurement, and data analysis. Dissertation policies, structure and procedures will also be introduced. Students will have an opportunity to build on and integrate their previous coursework in order to begin developing a viable dissertation prospectus.
