Catalog description

This intermediate laboratory course is designed to prepare students for the advanced laboratory sequence and undergraduate research in physics or astronomy. The course emphasizes the conceptualization, design and execution of experiments in physics. Students will develop skills in the techniques of acquiring and analyzing data, performing error analysis, drawing conclusions from experiments, and presenting results in both written and oral form.
