Catalog description

This course examines the revolutionary theory of knowledge and critique of traditional metaphysics presented in Kant's Critique of Pure Reason, followed by some study of the novel approach to metaphysics adopted in his Critique of Practical Reason (and based in part on his Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals). The course may also briefly explore Kant's contributions to other important debates or Kant's impact on other major thinkers.
