Catalog description

The second of two clinical dietetic courses provides students with didactic and experiential learning opportunities in the area of clinical nutrition, including the application of the nutrition care process to provide medical nutrition therapy to treat and prevent acute and chronic disease. Students examine the practices of pharmacology, informatics, and complementary and integrative nutrition in patient care.
