Catalog description
Values and ethics in health and health care, with particular attention to population health, health policy and the politics of health care are explored. Ethical issues in health and social services that challenge values are examined in the context of personal and organizational beliefs. Course content includes, but is not limited to, reproductive issues, emerging diseases, product liability, pharmaceutical controls, advertising, occupational and environmental issues, and research dilemmas.
