Executive Nursing Leadership: Practice, Education and Scholarship

Catalog description

This course will explore nursing leadership in executive practice with an emphasis on delivery of safe, timely, efficient, equitable and patient-centered care. Students will be introduced to essential core competencies surrounding leadership, professionalism, business skills, knowledge of healthcare environment, and communication and relationship management to increase proficiency for working in complex healthcare systems as nursing leaders.
