Catalog description

This course promotes the development of knowledge, skills and the ability to care for children including those with acute and chronic illnesses/conditions. Learning will focus on the unique healthcare needs of children with emphasis on family centered care. Students will apply knowledge through clinical reasoning in planning and facilitating nursing care for children and families.
