Catalog description

This course will enhance students' ability to locate and critically appraise evidence-based guidelines and nursing research to determine their applicability to nursing practice. Students critically examine the links among nursing research, theory and practice. Students will develop an understanding of the underlying paradigms and activities within quantitative and qualitative research.
