In this course, students will be immersed in the history and culture of communities within Malta to enhance knowledge and understanding of healthcare challenges unique to this population. Students will examine how culture, lifestyle and other social determinants of health impact the health and well-being of the Maltese people. An emphasis will be placed on understanding health care challenges unique to the Maltese.
