Combating Childhood Obesity

Catalog description

This course will examine the current evidence and issues related to obesity in children and adolescents in the United States. Emphasis is placed on the health-related outcomes of childhood obesity for individuals, families and communities. Analysis of individual and public health approaches to reduce the prevalence of childhood obesity will be discussed.
