Catalog description

In this course students will master elements of musical literacy, including such concepts as rhythm and meter, clef reading, scales, key signatures, intervals, triads, and seventh chords. Placement in this course is determined by diagnostic exam and recommendation from the music theory and composition area in the School of Music.
