Intermediate Leadership Laboratory II

Catalog description

In this course, Cadets deepen their understanding of Army doctrine and team development through practical, field-based leadership exercises. This lab supports MSCI 220 , which focuses on applying Army values, teamwork and the warrior ethos in the context of the law of land warfare and military service philosophy. Cadets engage in squad-level operations, case studies and exercises that emphasize leading and following within small units. Training includes troop leading procedures, land navigation and introductory battle drills, with MSII Cadets beginning to take on more advanced responsibilities and leadership roles in preparation for the transition to the advanced course.
