Catalog description

This course is the study and analysis of algorithms used to solve nonlinear equations and systems of linear and nonlinear equations. Students will learn iterative methods for matrices and Newton-type methods as well as numerical differential and integral calculus. Students will perform programming using a high-level language and/or software packages.
