Catalog description

This course is designed for future elementary and middle school teachers to develop mathematical knowledge for teaching by deeply examining concepts in mathematics including: experimental and theoretical probability, graphical representations, measures of center, measures of spread, variation, permutations and combinations. Problem solving, reasoning, representation, connections and communication form the foundation through which learning will take place.
