Principles of Algebra

Catalog description

This course is designed for future elementary and middle school teachers to develop mathematical knowledge for teaching by deeply examining concepts in mathematics including: expressions, equations and inequalities, functions, systems of equations and inequalities, and some calculus connections. Problem solving, reasoning, representation, connections and communication form the foundation through which learning will take place.
