Introduction to Applied Statistics Using R [C3QR]

Catalog description

An introduction to applied statistics that is more in-depth than MATH 220 and is encouraged for students majoring or minoring in STEM fields. Descriptive statistics, data collection, frequency distributions, sampling distributions and the Central Limit Theorem, estimation, confidence intervals, testing of hypotheses, simple linear regression, correlation, and chi-square test of independence are covered. Emphasis is on the analysis and interpretation of real data in context. Uses the R programming language. May be used for general education credit.
