Catalog description

This course is a one semester overview of calculus for students who do not intend further coursework in calculus. Topics include: limits; derivatives; application of derivatives in business, the social sciences and the natural sciences; integrals; and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Throughout, the focus is on algebraic, exponential and logarithmic functions. May be used for general education credit.
