This course provides students with knowledge, skills, and understanding to design and implement effective mathematics instruction (K-12). Focus is on the content, methods, and materials developmentally appropriate for mathematics instruction for a range of students, including diverse and special needs children. The course is based on the Principles and Standards for School Mathematics from NCTM.
