An introductory interdisciplinary survey of basic theoretical concepts to analyze the Latin American, Caribbean and U.S. Latinx experience, with special focus on how historical processes in Latin America and the Caribbean gave rise to specific and varied cultural production and forms in the region. May be used for general education credit.
