This course studies the benefits, risks and strategies for exercise testing and programming for persons with respiratory, neuromuscular, skeletal and immunological diseases, as well as psychological disorders. Prevalence, economic ramifications, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, assessment, pharmacology, potential benefits, and risk of exercise and exercise programming strategies are emphasized.
