Catalog description

This course studies physiological aspects of athletic performance in endurance-based sports. Physiological traits associated with high levels of performance (such as VO2max, lactate threshold, movement economy) will be discussed, with respect to their influence in specific sport settings. Principles of endurance training methods will also be discussed, with specific application to program planning for athletes.
