Exercise Immunology

Catalog description

Students will develop an in-depth understanding of the human immune system and how it is impacted by exercise. Specific focus will be placed on examining the relationship between immune function, exercise and risk of infections. Additional aims will be to explore physiological and molecular mechanisms that determine immune function and how they are impacted by acute and chronic exercise.
