Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce students to the issue of sex offenders in society. Students will consider sexual values in American society and how they relate to the development, thought patterns and behavior of individuals who sexually violate others. Students will learn about theories of sex offending, the effects of sex offending on victims and society, and strategies for treating and managing sex offenders.
