This course studies Italian poetry from the Middle Ages to the 21st century, including a selection of texts by prominent authors such as Dante Alighieri, Francesco Petrarca, Ludovico Ariosto, Gaspara Stampa, Torquato Tasso, Ugo Foscolo, Giacomo Leopardi, Giovanni Pascoli, Giuseppe Ungaretti, Eugenio Montale, Mario Luzi and Alda Merini.
