Catalog description

This course offers an interdisciplinary exploration of Italian American culture, focusing on the narratives, traditions and experiences that define the Italian American identity. Through the study of texts, music, visual arts, culinary traditions, iconic figures and communities, students will examine key themes such as immigration, assimilation, cultural conflict and the search for identity within a multicultural context. Instruction is in Italian.
