Catalog description

This course addresses the questions: What is Lean? What is Six Sigma? How are they different, why do many organizations combine them and how should they be applied in complex industrial/supply chain systems? Students will learn to evaluate process stability, map and model business processes, select and apply appropriate analytical methods, and implement and document the improved process.
