Catalog description

This course provides a hands-on introduction to building practical AI systems. Topics include: knowledge representation (propositional and predicate logic), search (local, global, uninformed and informed), planning, machine learning and natural language processing. Programming projects will involve designing intelligent agents that can play various board games using Prolog and Python. The course also discusses societal impacts of current and future AI systems and review state, national and international regulations designed to regulate the development and use of AI systems.
