Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth treatment and understanding of manufacturing automation and control technologies, material transportation and identification, cyber physical systems, and human factors and ergonomics in manufacturing. Topics include industrial control systems, hardware components for automation and process control, computer numerical control, industrial robotics, programmable logic control (PLC), material transport systems, storage systems, automatic identification and data capture, critical infrastructure, smart cities, cognition, decision making, biomechanics at work, and human computer interaction.
