This course builds on the student's basic understanding of environmental pollution, processes and control technologies in the context of systems thinking and sustainable practices. Content includes solid and hazardous waste and its management, the principles of environmental risk assessment, air quality analysis and management, drinking water and wastewater treatment, and life cycle analysis.
