This course is designed to explore conferences, conventions, expositions, meetings and special events as they relate to the responsibilities of a planner, selection criteria for host venues, legal and ethical issues, negotiating process, program design, budgeting, contracts, marketing, logistics and evaluation. Practical hands-on experience through projects may occur.
