In the Year 2000: America at the Turn of the Century

Students will focus on historical research and writing skills through the thematic study of American culture and politics in and around the year 2000. Students will read, listen, watch and analyze turn-of-the-century sources, engage in a series of practical exercises to explore a variety of historical methods and complete a semester-long research project.
