Research Capstone Topics

Catalog description

The 400-level history capstones provide students with an integrative intellectual experience building on the skills and habits of mind that have been cultivated during their program. These capstones focus on a culminating project (e.g., a research paper, historiography paper, museum exhibit, website, teaching unit, podcast, briefing paper, op-ed, etc.). Students immerse themselves in a topic and make it their own. Topics and research projects will change with each instructor. Students may repeat the course for credit if taken with different instructors.
