Catalog description

This course is a study of the origin and distribution of sedimentary rocks within a tectonic and climatic framework. Laboratory and field exercises explore sedimentation, sedimentary petrology, facies analysis, weathering and stratigraphy with the goal of discerning Earth's records of past environments and climates.
