Catalog description

This is an advanced course on image processing using cloud-based remote sensing. The course covers basic processing techniques such as PCA, Tasseled-cap and temporal compositing, as well as advanced techniques such as spectral mixture analysis, time series analysis and multi-sensor fusion. The course emphasizes the utilization of large quantities of remote sensing data and cloud-based processing tools for environmental applications. Examples will be given from a range of remote sensing systems and applications, with a focus on land remote sensing for monitoring environmental changes. Previous experience in coding is recommended.
