This advanced human geography course spatially investigates the human population, with emphases on public policy, inequality and current events throughout. Major topics include population measurement, distribution and structure, social stratification, fertility, health, aging and mortality, environment and resource dynamics, migration across spatial and temporal scales of analysis, and community geography.
