Catalog description
The purpose of this course is to acquaint students with different types of French short stories and the various narrative techniques writers use to address issues of plot, character, place and theme. Students will acquire familiarity with methodologies and tools that will sharpen their understanding of the genre and their ability to analyze it. Students will engage with the course material through academic and/or creative writing. Instruction and readings are in French.
