Catalog description

This course introduces the elements of mechanisms and machines and the underlying physical principles of mechanical systems that generate and convey mechanical motion. Topics include linkages, cams and gears. An included design studio allows for the use of engineering software and prototyping processes for the design and fabrication of mechanized elements.
