Catalog description

This course introduces the fundamental principles of thermodynamics and heat transfer in engineering systems. Topics include mass and energy balance concepts and incorporates the laws of thermodynamics in addition to the fundamental mechanisms of 1-dimensional heat transfer. ENGR 312 and ENGR 312L must be taken concurrently.
