Catalog description

This course focuses on principles applicable to fluid mechanics of incompressible flow. Topics include fluid statics; mass, energy and momentum balances; as well as the principles of internal and external flows. Wide-ranging applications of these principles to fluid systems across engineering disciplines are emphasized. ENGR 311 and ENGR 311L must be taken concurrently.
