Catalog description
In this course, students practice the skills of literary analysis, including how to generate, articulate and support viable arguments about literary meaning, and how to structure these arguments for specific audiences. Writing and revision will form central components of this course. Students will refine and apply their knowledge of specialized terms, concepts and critical methodologies for literary analysis. This course prepares students for upper-level work in literary studies.
