Catalog description

This course will apply ethical reasoning to questions about the environment and our place in the natural world. Students will study a variety of ethical theories and consider the views of thinkers from the past and contemporary society. Topics will include animal rights, conservation and use of natural resources, and environmental justice with respect to pollution and climate change.
